Apple’s fourth store in Korea has just opened on March 31st, 2023. It is located in Gangnam, Seoul. Gangnam is known as the wealthiest area of Korea and is also the home of the elite in Seoul. It gained global recognition, especially after the success of Gangnam Style by PSY with the viral horse dance. Reasonably, the store is designed and equipped with the most unique materials that also come from local sources. Apple also stated that the store features a unique facade that changes in appearance across the course of the day, and across seasons.
It offers an amazing space for customers to explore Apple’s impressive range of products and services, with expert support from knowledgeable team members who can help you get the most out of your devices. Additionally, customers can attend free Today at Apple sessions, which are designed to help you learn more about your products and how to use them to their fullest potential.

“Located in the historically rich and fast-moving neighborhood of Gangnam in Seoul, Apple Gangnam features a uniquely designed double-height façade with a completely new gradient frit and mirrored coating treatment that blurs the transition from top to bottom and shifts in appearance during different times of day or seasons. Apple Gangnam is designed with materials sourced from the region, including the tables, wood feature wall, logo, façade glass, stone walls, and flooring. Like all Apple facilities, Apple Gangnam and Apple’s operations in South Korea run on 100 percent renewable energy and are carbon neutral”, the iPhone maker stated.

Apple opened its first store in Garosugil, Seoul in 2018, and followed by Apple Myeongdong and Apple Jamsil after one year. South Korea is one of the most developed countries in Asia and South Koreans spend trillions on shopping, especially high-end products. Therefore, there is nothing surprising that Seoul is a hot spot for fashion and tech companies to expand. Even though Samsung originated in Korea, the younger generation in S.Korea believes that only older people are interested in Samsung phones. Apple, on the other hand, is more accepted by young people for its design and productivity.
At Apple Gangnam, customers can rely on the expertise of almost 150 retail team members who speak over 12 languages, assisting customers in discovering and trying out Apple’s newest products such as the iPhone 14, equipped with its remarkable camera features and advanced safety functions. Additionally, customers can take advantage of essential retail services such as the Apple Trade-In program, monthly financing options, and the newly launched Apple Pay in South Korea. The teams are available to provide guidance and help customers maximize their experience with Apple products.
